Call of Duty: Black Ops-Escalation je od danas moguće "skinuti" (eng. download) sa Xbox Live Marketplace-a širom svijeta. Escalation "donosi" pet novih mapa: četiri multi player mape, te novi single player zombie mod. Multi player igrači će iskusiti: "Hotel"-borbu na krovu Kubanskog luksuznog hotela, "Convoy"-donosi intenzivnu bitku u Američkom ratnom konvoju, "Zoo"-vodi vas na divlju vožnju u napuštenom zoološkom vrtu, punu opasnosti, dok posljednja multi player mapa, "Stockpile" odvodi igrače na napuštenu Rusku farmu, koja krije stravične tajne. Activision nije otkrivao tajne o single player modu, već je pustio igrače da sami otkriju čari toga moda. Escalation je do sada dostupan samo Xbox Live korisnicima, dok će vlasnici Sony-eve konzole, kao i vlasnici računara uskoro uživati u novom DLC paketu uskoro. Napomena : cijeli projekt je jos u beta fazi tako da moze doci do padanja servera.
