This extensive article tells you about all the new, extended and improved PES 2013 features.

 

The first PES 2013 trailer is online. Along with the video, we provide you, the PES community, with this extensive article, containing much information about what is new and improved in the 2013 edition of the Konami football game.

 

 

Many of the new features, extensions and improvements are based on your feedback, i.e. your critical and constructive comments as the PES community – on this official PES portal, on various PES fanpages on Facebook, and in long e-mails as well as in clearly verbalized YouTube video appeals. On top of that, we have got many answers on Twitter and statements of tens of thousands of participants that have shared their opinions.

 

All your feedback has been analyzed, processed and discussed with the PES 2013 developers in numerous meetings.

 

Control and animation of the goalkeeper, the sound ambience in the stadiums, the gameplay balance – these were, amongst other things, the points that have been talked about and criticized the most. Therefore, these elements will be improved and extended in PES 2013. Read more about it in the article below.

 

The new features and improvements in PES 2013 are based on the following three central components: PES FullControl, Player ID, and ProActive AI. We will explain what this exactly means in a moment.

 

 

1. PES FullControl (PES FC)

The term PES FullControl describes several new and improved features that give you even more control about the players and the ball in PES 2013.

 

Total Freedom of Control:

Pro Evolution Soccer introduced the concept of freedom of movement, the new ‘PES FC’ in PES 2013 goes further with total freedom over ball control.

Dynamic First Touch:

PES 2013 introduces subtle ways to receive the ball, from traps, gently lifting it past an attacker to run on to or a variety of other moves. First touch is everything and players can trap the ball using the R2 button, killing the speed of a well-hit pass and bringing it instantly under control, or using the momentum of the pass to turn a defender.

Full Manual Shooting and Full Manual Passing:

PES 2013 offers fully manual passing and for the first time ever manual shooting, allowing users to determine the height and power of each. Long low passes can be sent skimming across the pitch, while shooting the user has total control over where the shot is placed. Skill and precision are needed to master these, but passes can be made into open areas, allowing lone strikers to thrive, while offering an unrivalled variety in ways to score.

Full Manual Shooting and Full Manual Passing: PES 2013 offers fully manual passing and for the first time ever manual shooting.

 

Dribbling:

The speed with which a player moves with the ball has been slowed in line with real matches, but using R2 allows players to add various styles to their close control. Players can vary the speed of their dribbling, and cushion the ball as they move freely within a 360-degree circle. The new system allows players to knock a ball past a player and collect it, nutmeg them, or hold up play by shielding the ball as team mates find space and make runs.

Full Manual One-Two:

Active one-two passes can be made, with the second player being moved in any direction), facilitating various tactical movements.

Response Defending:

Countering the attacking options the new dribbling system offers, is a beautifully-balanced defence system. Players can use R2 and X to slow an attack, with a double-tap of the X button prompting a perfectly-timed challenge. Full 360-degree control means that players can check runs and steal the ball from a parallel position, while the individuality element will see world renowned defenders using aerial dominance of physicality to win the ball.

Goalkeepers:

Even the game’s ‘keepers benefit from more control, while their distribution is more precise thanks to the addition of a power gauge when they throw the ball, creating opportunities for new, quicker counter attacks.

2. Player ID

Player ID focuses on the individual elements and movements that each player boasts:

 

Player Individuality:

The very best players in PES 2013 will be instantly recognisable via incredible likeness and signature attributes, skills and tricks that bring them to life. The way they run, turn, trap and move the ball, shape to shoot and even celebrate will be noticeably different during play.

Individuality to Goalkeepers:

The individuality of movement has also been extended to between the posts. Goal keeping has been totally invigorated via new animations and play styles.

New varieties of saves and reactions have been added to ensure the game’s ‘keepers are in line with the efforts of real shot stoppers. This level of realism also extends to the game’s top-rated goal keepers, with their moves to close attacks down, fling themselves to tip a shot past the post, and in-goal acrobatics benefiting from all new animations and AI.

3. ProActive AI

ProActive AI unites the control and realism, with players that will respond and find space as befits those at the top of their game:

 

Balance of Play:

The development team has worked closely with the PES fan base to eradicate any illogical elements to the way players move and run in PES 2013, with the ‘ProActive AI’ system enhancing the speed and balance resulting in a more realistic game experience.

Tactical Precision:

The balance of play has also been enhanced in the play between defences and the front line, with greater organisation as the teams track back or pelt forward, setting a harder to beat defensive line, teams adjusting faster to ball gain or loss, allowing for quicker counters.

The development team has worked hard with real keepers to ensure the AI decision process has been vastly improved.

 

Enhanced Goalkeepers:

Improvements to the goal keepers was voted the key advancement football fans wanted to see in PES 2013, and the team has worked hard with real keepers to ensure the AI decision process has been vastly improved. Keepers now espond with better reactions, clear their lines more effectively and push the ball savely out of play rather than into dangerous areas.

4. Better connectivity and atmosphere

PES 2013 will also boast better connectivity and atmosphere.

 

The popular myPES application will extend the connectivity and communication between Facebook-using PES fans, while the game’s audio effects are being tied closer to the on-field action to provide the kind of buzz seen at top-tier matches, with crowds growing in excitement as their team starts to exert pressure.

Svi koji su ranije popunili oficijalnu PES anketu dobili su povratni e-mejl od Konamija gde im je potvrđeno da će u PES 2013 imati potpunu kontrolu pri dodavanju i šutiranju i da će lopta ići tamo gde oni to budu želeli, kao i da su golmani kompletno prepravljeni. We’re writing to you as you participated – along with tens of thousands of other dedicated PES players from around the world – in our feedback survey.

 

We are changing and improving many features and aspects of PES this year and most of them have been specifically requested by fans like you.

 

We want to personally express our gratitude for your support and explain to you how your input has influenced this year’s development.

 

For example, you rated goalkeepers slightly above average to good – in other words: not good enough for PES. A common complaint about goalies concerned the lack of animations. Many of you also criticized how long it takes to bring the ball back into play after the goalkeeper catches the ball. To address the situation we sought advice from pro keepers and worked hard on AI. The result: far more options, many new animations and even different play styles.

 

Another example of how your feedback helped: many of you stated you prefer playing PES 2012 without use of any pass support. This inspired us to enable optional full manual passing and shooting. Thanks to new PES FullControl you can precisely place shots exactly where you want – if you can master the skills required of course!

PES 2013: EVENT NEXT WEEK IN BRAZIL

 

In the past week it was the first information about Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 , a trailer and screenshots . Now there is more news about the next part of the PES series. Adam Bhatti, an expert from the PES WinningElevenBlog has notified via Twitter that he will travel next week to a PAA event in Brazil. He will also see the new game.

PES 2013 EVENT IN BRAZIL: THE NEWS TICKER PROREVO

 

Currently held in Sao Paulo (Brazil) is a first big press event for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 instead. Throughout the day there were several reports of persons present on Twitter, and we have you listed the most important and combined with a few pictures.

The manual shots, which take place on the Playstation 3 via the combination L2 + Left Stick + Square seem to work out well. Some shots were placed 25 meters and it was wonderful overall very much an individual:

Also, PES European boss Jon Murphy has tweeted in between. Information on licenses, there is therefore no earlier than the E3 Expo (from 5 - 7 June in Los Angeles) to give. Furthermore, in the version that is playable in Sao Paulo has the new element "Player-ID" embedded, which will guarantee substantial differences in the playing style of different players.

PES 2013 impresije

 

 

Nedavno je bila pres-konferencija u Brazilu, gde su bili pozvani predstavnici nekih PES sajtova, kao i ostalih medija kako bi im Konami predstavio PES 2013, dao izjave, saopštenja i odgovore na određena pitanja. Zahvaljujući WENB blogu, u prilici smo da dobijemo eskluzivan materijal od njih tako da prvi put objavljujemo vest u isto vreme kao i ostali portali. Golmani

 

Golmani su bili najviše traženi element igre za koji su fanovi zahtevali da bude unapređen, tako da je Konami proveo dosta vremena i napora kako bi ih poboljšao, njihove animacije kao i njihov AI.

 

Ove godine možemo biti veoma optimistični, golmani su totalno unapređeni počevši od potpuno novih animacija koje će izvoditi u zavisnosti od situacije, odbrana jednom rukom, različite reakcije kod 1 na 1, pri pokušaju loba i td., sad sve to izgleda sveže i novo. Čak i u ovoj ranoj fazi pokreti i opšte ponašanje golmana je daleko ispred onoga iz predhodnim verzijama.

 

Druga novina je ta da će korisnik imati bolju i bržu kontrolu nad golmanom, što vam može omogućiti brze kontre. Imaćete Power Bar kojim kontrolišete ispucavanje i bacanje lopte, s tim i veću preciznost i kontrolu gde želite da pošaljete loptu.

 

Igranje odbrane (Response Defending)

 

Igranje odbare u PES 2011 i PES 2012 je bilo dobro u konceptu, ali u praksi je to izgledalo drugačije, nije funkcionisalo baš najbolje pošto nikad niste znali kada će vaš igrač da napadne loptu. Ove godine postoji dugme da zadate komandu igraču kada želite da napadne, što vam daje veću kontrolu u defanzivnom delu igre i donosi novi nivo veštine kada je u pitanju osvajanje lopte. Naravno i ovo će pratiti nove animacije u zavisnosti od situacije, da li je igrač blizu protivniku ili je više udaljen, kao i njihovog položaja u odnosu jedan na drugog.

 

Takozvani Response Defending ćete izvoditi tako što dva puta tapnete X (dodavanje) dugme i time ćete biti u mogućnosti da izvedete stojeći start na loptu kad vi to želite, to će vam takođe omogućiti i da napravite taktičke faulove da bi prekinuli igru.

 

Player ID

 

Sada je prepoznatljivost dobro poznatih igrača na još većem nivou. Uspeli su da snime i ubace u igru 40 do 50 igrača, da skinu njihove dobro prepoznatljive pokrete i veštine do sitnih detalja. Tako Kaka ne samo da ima svoju jedinstvenu animaciju trčanja, već ima i duže korake kad trči sa loptom.

 

Player ID nisu samo animacije koje su jedinstvene, već utiče i na igru. Naprimer kao u stvarnom životu Xavi može izvesti oštar okret za 180 stepeni spoljnom ili unutrašnjom stranom kopačke koristeći R2 dugme, tu je jasno da to nije samo lepa animacija već to itekako ima uticaja u igri.

 

Bližu kontrolu lopte sa R2 će mnogo bolje izvoditi igrači sa visokom dribling ocenom. Tako će Inijesta koji je veoma spretan pri driblingu pomoću R2 imati bližu kontrolu lopte, tako da kad se nađe u tesnom prostoru prebacivaće loptu sa jedne na drugu nogu. To je jedinstvena side step animacija gde Xavi tesno drži loptu između nogu i može da se završi ubrzanjem gde lako beži od protivnika. Onda, Riberi koristi svoju petu pri izvođenju marsejskog ruleta, Neymar može da izvede njegov dribling koji je postao njegov zaštitni znak gde nogu vrti iznad lopte pripremajući se da izvede nastavak driblinga, dok sa druge strane u odbrani ćete moći na razne načine da blokirate udarac, pa čak i na način kao što je to Terry izveo sa svojim supermen bacanjem (slika gore).

 

WENB impresije nakon igranja PES 2013

 

Ono što ćete prvo da primetite je novi meni kod biranja ekipa, gde imate model celog igrača na obe strane ekrana, a ne samo gornju polovinu igrača. U sredini je slika obe postave sa tačnim pozicijama na terenu. Sa ovog skrina možete odabrati stadion, formaciju i gameplan. Meni formacije se ne razlikuje nešto od PES 2012, ali mogu se očekivati neke ključne promene do kompetnijeg koda igre.

Ulazak u meč je gotovo isti kao i u PES 2012, sa istim uglovima kamera, ali kad igra počne biće vam jasno da je glavni fokus Konami tima bio gameplay koji daleko odstupa od PES 2012.

 

Kako lopta ide terenom primetićete da je tempo mnogo sporiji nego u PES 2012, tako da sve izgleda mnogo realnije. Ovo nije samo eskluzivno na način kako lopta putuje, već takođe kako se igrači kreću sa loptom i bez nje. Pozicioniranje igrača je mnogo bolje, kao i kretanje u prostor. Videćete kako se protivnik dobro pozicionira na terenu u zavisnosti kako se igra razvija. Kada kontrolišete loptu, protivnički igrači sredine terena će znati da se postave tako da blokiraju očigledne pasove, pre nego što će da izvrše pritisak na vas.

 

Prisutan je opet passing bar sistem, ima 3 nivoa koji su mnogo slobodniji nego u PES 2012. Netačni i prejaki pasovi su sad vrlo mogući, ali ste u boljoj mogučnosti da pošaljete lotpu baš tamo gde ste želeli. Stavite pass na 0 i imaćete potpuno manuelno dodavanje, gde kontrolišete i jačinu i pravac. Naravno nemoj da mislite da ocene igrača tu više neće imati nikakav uticaj.

 

Pri prijemu lopte sad možete koristiti R2 i R3 dugme. Tajming je sad ključan faktor, pogotovo sa R3 kontrolom gde možete da tapnete loptu u vis ispred sebe, naravno to sve prate nove animacije. R2 će vam pomoći da što bolje primirite tešku loptu, gde možete videti gde igrač svojim đonom pokušava da smiri loptu koja poskakuje. Ovaj element igre će itekako da ima smisla i da se razlikuje u zavisnosti od timova i igrača sa različitim skilovima.

 

Nema više šina po kojima igrači idu, tako da nećete morati da koristite super cancel ne bi li poslali igrača tamo gde želite, već imate totalnu kontrolu nad njim kad se kursorom prebacite na njega. Takođe igrači ne ostaju ukopani na pozicijama sa koje ne možete da ih pomerite ako ne koristite super cancel kao ranije, već morate da budete veoma pribrani kad primate pas ili dugu loptu. Vaš igrač neće automatski da krene na loptu, sve dok mu to ne kažete u suprotnom će da džogira ka njoj. Kod visokih lopti, npr. kod ispucavanje bekovske sami ćete morati da pozicionirate igrača u prostor gde lopta treba da padne. Za ovo će malo trebati vremena da se naviknete ali je ova novina više nego dobrodošla.

 

Sledeće veliko poboljšanje se vidi u odbrani. Startovanje na loptu se najzad zasniva na ocenama igrača. I dalje su bitni preciznost i tajming pri startovanju, ali na to se sad dodaju i karakretistike igrača kojeg kontrolišete. Igrači poput Pepea i Ramosa su veoma efikanski pri startovanju, dok napadači deluju nezgrapnije u pokušaju da osvoje loptu. Najzad ima mnogo više koristi u kontrolisanju vrhunskog defanzivca.

 

Nasuprot ovome nalazi se poboljšan sistem driblanja koristeći R2, kojim se mogu izbaciti iz ravnoteže defanzivci sa pravovremenim promenama pravca. Korišćenjem R2 igrač pravi male dodire sa loptom, drži je blizu sebe; tu se vide i neke lepe nove animacije.

 

Kad pređete tog igrača dolazite u situaciju da šutnete na gol, a šutiranje je doživelo velike promeneu odnosu na PES2012. Verovatno najslabiji element igre uz golmane prošle godine. Najveća novina što se tiče šutiranja u PES2013 je modifikator za manuelno šutiranje, gde držite L2 dok punite šut. Nije stvar samo u tome da imate punu kontrolu gde će lopta da ode, postoji i nagrada za taj rizik, a to je da manuelno šutiranje ima malo dodatne brzine. Njegovo korišćenje daje malo dodatne snage, ali naravno i više šanse da lopta ode preko ili pored gola. Kao i na manualno dodavanje i na šutiranje utiču određene ocene igrača kako bi se sačuvala individualnost. Igrači poput Ronalda i Benzeme imaju tu dodatnu snagu pri šutu i ona se ne gubi pri manuelnom šutiranju.

 

Na drugoj strani konetrolera je R2 i njegovim pritiskanjem posle popunjavanja šuta dočekaće vas felširana lopta. Za razliku od prethodne godine u PES2013 felširanost je mnogo primetljivija. Lopta ima potpuno drugačiju putanju u odnosu na normalni šut. Šutiranje uopšteno deluje mnogo slobodnije, ne računajući manuelni modifikator. Postoji veća kontrola gde će lopta da ide.

 

Na drugoj strani šutiranja su golmani, a i tu ima šta da se kaže. Pouzdani, inteligentni i reaguju na vreme. Greške su svedene na minimum i sad se može računati na golmane da odrade svoj posao kako treba. U situacijama 1 na 1 golmani reaguju drukčije svaki put, nema više istrčavanja i bacanja pre vremena, duže ostaju na nogama i reaguju mnogo bolje. Kad uhvate loptu mnogo brže ustaju i spremni su da brže proslede loptu dalje.

 

Što se tiče grafike, vizuelni deo igre tek treba da napreduje, ali će svakako da ostane blizak prošlogodišnjem. Animacije su sa druge strane mnogo bolje, veliki broj varijacija za dodavanje i šutiranje, a dosta je urađeno i za centriranje. Postoji i dosta ambijentalnih i kontekstnih animacija, npr. za prvi dodir igrača sa loptom postoji nekoliko animacija.

 

Na kraju igre na čeka uobičajeni prikaz detalja sa utakmice, a posle njega dobijamo sliku koja pokazuje ocene igrača kao i igrača utakmice.
